Shiksha, Barpeta for engagement in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, (KGBV) Type – III Residential Schools for Girls under Samagra Shiksha, Barpeta.

The Warden cum Superintendent/Head teacher/Full Time Asstt Teachers must reside in the KGBV campus except during the vacation, when KGBV students go on

vacation as per academic calendar All positions are reserved for female candidates. The posts are purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 11 months.

Position-wise Vacancy & Salary Details 

The engagement carries a fixed monthly remuneration depending on whether the candidate is TET/Higher Secondary TET qualified. 

1. Warden cum Superintendent

● No. of Posts: 01

● Date of Interview: 19.06.2026

● Fixed Remuneration: ○ For TET Qualified: ₹24,000/- per month ○ For Non-TET Qualified: ₹22,000/- per month

● Age Limit: Below 45 years as on 01.01.2026.

● Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Sociology with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution and Higher Secondary TET qualified. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching. In case of non-availability, Higher Secondary TET qualified Graduate candidates will be considered. 

2. Full-Time Assistant Teacher (English)

● No. of Posts: 01

● Date of Interview: 19.06.2026

● Fixed Remuneration: ○ For TET Qualified: ₹22,000/- per month

                                                ○ For Non-TET Qualified: ₹20,000/- per month

● Age Limit: Below 45 years as on 01.01.2026.

● Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in English with B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution and Higher Secondary TET qualified. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching. In case of non-availability, Higher Secondary TET qualified Graduate candidates will be considered.

3. Full-Time Assistant Teacher (Other Subjects)

● Fixed Remuneration: ○ For TET Qualified: ₹22,000/- per month ○ For Non-TET Qualified: ₹20,000/- per month

● Age Limit: Below 45 years as on 01.01.2026.

Eligible candidates must apply using the standard procedure layout detailed below:

1. Application Format: Submit your application on plain paper addressed to the District Mission Co-ordinator, SSA, Barpeta.

2. Required Details in Application: The application must explicitly state:

○ Name of Post, Permanent Address, Address for Communication, Mobile No., Age on 1st January 2026,

Educational Qualifications, and Other Qualifications with Percentage, Working Experience with the UDISE code of the concerned institution.

3. Documents to Enclose: One passport-size photograph along with self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials relating to Educational Qualification, Experience, Caste certificate, etc.

4. Submission: The complete application packet must be submitted to the Office of the District Mission Co-ordinator, Samagra Shiksha, Barpeta latest by 12.06.2026. Note: The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on 18.06.2026 along with the date and venue verification schedule at the Office of the DMC, Samagra Shiksha, Barpeta. Shortlisted candidates must bring original copies of all certificates and mark sheets during verification.

● All positions are strictly reserved for female candidates.

● No TA/DA will be paid for attending the verification-cum-interview.

● Selected candidates (Warden/Teachers) will have to reside within the school campus (KGBV).

● Age relaxation applies to SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC & PwD candidates as per Government rules.

● One candidate can apply for only one post.

● Non-TET candidates, if selected, must qualify for the Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive Higher Secondary TET exams.
