Community: Only SC Community Students are eligible to apply for the Scholarship. aste certificate only issued by Office of the District Commissioner of their respective Districts is accepted.

Citizenship: The scholarships are open to Nationals of India only.

State of Domicile: Domicile state means the state in which students have their permanent address. Students are required to provide their domicile state correctly as their applications may be sent for verification to the Authorities belonging to their State of Domicile.

Family Restriction: All the children of any parent/ guardian will be entitled to receive benefits of the scheme.

Income Ceiling:
Pre-Matric (Class-IX & X) [Component-I] and Post-Matric Scholarship:
Scholarships will be granted to the SC students whose parental/guardian's income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum. The income certificate should be obtained only from the Circle Officer of respective Revenue Circle.

Pre-Matric (Class I-X) [Component-II] Scholarship:
No Income Ceiling for the Students of Parents or Guardians Engaged in Unclean Occupation.
# Children of those Engaged in Occupation involving Cleaning and Prone to Health Hazards, Eligible candidates will submit a certificate from District Social Welfare office, identified officer of Local body, Civic Agency or any such authority as designated by State Government.

Bonafide Certificate: A Bonafide Certificate is required to be obtained from the Head of the Institutions is to be submitted for all above three (3) cases.

Students mandatorily need the following documents to fill up the SC Scholarship Application Form.
Bank Passbook
Bonafide Certificate
Income Certificate
Caste Certificate
Aadhaar Card

Note:
1. Applicants are advised to give only that bank account details which remains in active mode so that payment of Scholarship does not fail as all the disbursement of Scholarship will be made through DBT mode. The authority shall not be responsible for any failure of transaction due to inactive or incorrect bank details.
2. Applicants to ensure that they have a bank account seeded with Aadhaar number.
3. Aadhaar to be made mandatory for all applicants. However for minor applicants who apply without Aadhaar, it will be mandatory for parent or legal guardian to provide Aadhaar.
