Applications are invited in Standard Form from intending candidates for filling up the following post purely on contractual basis under the establishment of District Legal Services Authority, Nagaon at a fixed pay of Rs 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) per month.
Terms and conditions:
1. The candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. 2. The candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026. Age relaxation shall be as per Govt. norms for reserved categories. 3. Minimum Qualification is class VIII (Eight) passed. 4. The candidate must have valid LMV Driving License issued by competent authority. 5. The candidate must possess valid Employment Exchange Registration number for the State of Assam. 6. If any candidate is found to have suppressed his educational qualification or given any wrong information at the time of applying for the post, his candidature shall be liable to be rejected without any notice. |
7. Selection Process:

8. The last date of receipt of application is 02.06.2026 till 5 pm. 9. The candidates must submit their application along with self-attested documents in a sealed envelope either by Courier, Registered Post/ Speed Post or deposit the same in the “DROP BOX” provided for the purpose in the premises of the District & Sessions Judges’ Court, 4th Floor, Judicial Court Building at Nagaon. The Selection Board shall not be responsible for any postal/courier delay in delivering the application and those applications will be summarily rejected without any notice. 10. Contact (mobile) numbers of the candidate must be provided in the application form. 11. The application should be addressed to the District & Sessions Judge - cum- Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Nagaon, 4th Floor Judicial Court Building, Nagaon, Pin-782001 and the applicant must mention on the envelope containing the application “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF DRIVER (CONTRACTUAL)” at the top. 12. The applicant will have to submit self-attested relevant documents (Photocopy) of educational qualification certificates and mark sheets, valid driving license, age proof certificate, employment exchange certificate and caste certificate (in case of reserved category candidates) along with 3 (three) copies of recent passport size photographs. 13. The candidates who secure 60% marks in the Driving Skill test will be eligible for appearing in the viva voce/interview and they will have to bring all required original testimonials to appear in the Viva-Voce/interview. The final result will be declared by compiling the marks of both the test that is driving skill test and viva voce. 14. The list of eligible candidates as well as the reject list of candidates will be uploaded in the official website (https://nagaon.dcourts.gov.in/). 15. The date, time and venue of driving test/viva voce/interview for the eligible candidates will be published in the official website of Nagaon District Judiciary(https://nagaon.dcourts.gov.in/). No separate individual call letter will be issued from this office. 16. The candidates who are already in Government Service shall apply through proper channel. 17. All other information relating to recruitment process (including final results) will be published in the official website of this District Judiciary, Nagaon. 18. All the applicants are advised to visit the official website frequently. 19. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate. 20. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates. 21. The undersigned reserves the right to cancel the advertisement, alter/modify any terms or conditions of the advertisement at any stage. 22. All other matters which are not specifically provided in this advertisement shall be as decided by the Selecting/Appointing Authority. |
