The terms and conditions for engagement of Driver, requisite educational qualifications, consolidated pay etc. are stated below:

Terms & Conditions:
1. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. 2. Candidates serving in Govt. Department should submit their application through proper channel. 3. Candidates must submit a copy of valid Driving License of LMV along with theirapplication. 4. If any candidate is found to have suppressed his/her educational qualifications/age or given wrong information at the time or subsequent to applying for job, his/ her candidature shall stand rejected without any information to him/her with immediate effect and shall also be liable to criminal Prosecution as per law. 5. Candidates must not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age on 01- 01-2026. The upper age limit is relaxed by (copy of the certificate relating to reservation category issued by the competent authority must be submitted along with the application): a. 5 (five) years for SC/ST candidates, i.e., 45 years; b. 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates, i.e., 43 years. 6. Candidates must mention their contact details clearly including mobile number in their application. 7. Candidates must submit their application in standard form along with self-attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Experience Certificate (if any), copy of the updated Employment Exchange Registration Card along with 3 (Three) copies of recent passport size photographs, duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side and address to: The District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, South Salmara Mankachar, Hatsingimari, PIN- 783136, Assam. The envelope containing the duly completed application form should be dropped in the drop box labelled “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF DRIVER (Contractual basis)” kept in the premises of the District Legal Services Authority, South Salmara Mankachar between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the working days from 22.05.2026 to 20.06.2026. 8. Application submitted in any other mode such as by email, whatsapp etc. except as indicated above will be summarily rejected without any communication. 9. The last date of receipt of application is 20.06.2026. No application will be entertained after last date. The appointing authority shall not be responsible under any circumstances of any postal delay. 10. The list of eligible candidates along with specific dates of interview shall be uploaded in the Official website of South Salmara Mankachar District Judiciary (https://southsalmara.dcourts.gov.in/) in due course. No separate call letters will be issued. Applicants are requested to refer to the official website. 11. No TA/DA shall be admissible to the candidates for attending the Interview Process. 12. Application received late or without proper supporting documents or unsigned or incomplete will be rejected. 13. If any candidate is found canvassing directly or indirectly, his/her candidature will be rejected. 14.
