Applications are invited from the citizens of India as defined under article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India in the Standard Form (Assam Gazette Part-IX) along with (3) three numbers of passport size photographs, for engagement in the following post at fixed pay on contractual basis in the office of the District Legal Services Authority, Dhubri as shown below:

ELIGIBILITY
| 1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-
| i) Minimum educational qualification for the post is VIII passed.
ii) The candidate must possess a valid driving licence issued by the Competent Authority (LMV). iii) The Candidate must possess Employment Exchange Registration number for the State of Assam. |
| 2. AGE LIMIT :- | The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026. Age relaxation shall be as per Govt. norms for reserved categories. |

4. Terms and Conditions
I. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as per the Constitution of India. II. The application shall be addressed to “The Secretary, District legal Services Authority, Dhubri” indicating the post applied for on the top of the envelope and submitted to the office of the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Dhubri, Pin: 783301 on or before 30.05.2026 by 05:00 PM. III. Contact Numbers of the applicants should be provided in the application. IV. Candidates must have registered their names in the Employment Exchange, Assam and the Registration is to be valid on date of submission of applications. V. Candidates must have passed Class VIII or equivalent from a Govt. recognized Board/Council. The applicant must have a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licence issued by Competent Authority. VI. The applicant need to submit offline application in Standard form as published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette and must have enclosed self-attested photocopies of all relevant testimonials regarding educational qualification, Driving Licence, Experience certificate (wherever applicable), Age proof, Employment Exchange Registration Card, NOC from employer (wherever applicable) along with 03 (Three) copies of recent passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side. VII. The filled application form must be superscribed “Application for the Post of Driver” on the envelope, along with Name, Address and Mobile Number. The application must be submitted in the Drop Box at the office of the undersigned. Applications sent by registered Post/Speed post will be considered only if received in the Drop Box before the due date. Delay or non-delivery will be the candidate’s responsibility and late applications will be rejected. VIII. If any candidate is found to have suppressed his educational qualifications or to have given wrong information, at the time of applying for the job or later on, his/her candidature shall stand rejected without any information to him with immediate effect and shall also be liable to Criminal Prosecution as per law. IX. Application submitted without proper supporting documents or incomplete application will be summarily rejected. X. The eligible candidates shall be required to appear for Skill test, followed by Viva-Voce. XI. The list of eligible candidates/ rejected candidates along with specific dates of Driving Skill test and Interview/Viva Voce, (as and where applicable) shall be uploaded in the Official website of Dhubri District Judiciary (https://dhubri.dcourts.gov.in) and in the Notice Board of Office of District Legal Services Authority, Dhubri in due course. No separate call letters will be issued. Applicants are requested to refer to the official website. XII. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for attending the Driving Skill test /Viva-Voce, XIII. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate. XIV. The District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, DLSA, Dhubri reserves the right to alter/modify or change any terms or conditions including selection criteria etc. mentioned in the advertisement and in such an eventuality due notice thereof will be published at the discretion of the undersigned. XV. All other matters which are not specifically mentioned in this advertisement shall be as decided by the selecting/appointing authority. |
