The Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Majuli, Assam has issued an recruitment notice [No: DSWO(M)OSC/2025-2026/001] for purely temporary and contractual engagement at Sakhi: One Stop Centre (OSC), Majuli under Mission Shakti, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India. Applications are invited from eligible citizens of India who are permanent residents of the state of Assam.
Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria

| 2. Counsellor | 01 (One) | Women Only. Local resident. Degree/Diplom a in Psychology / Psychiatry / Neurosciences with a background in health/social work sector. | Minimum 3 years experience of working with a government or non-government health project/programme at the District level. (Majuli residents preferred). | ₹25,000/- |
| 3. Office Assistant | 01 (One) | Women Only(Preferably). Bachelor's degree with a | 3 years experience in office documentation, web-based reporting formats, and video conferencing at state/districtlevel. | ₹20,000/- |
| 4. Multi Purpose Worker | 01 (One) | Women Only. High school passed or equivalent. | Any woman who is literate with knowledge/exp erience of working in the relevant domain. (Majuli residents preferred). | ₹14,000/- |
| 5. Security Guard | 02 (Two) | HSLC passed. | Minimum 2 years experience of paramilitary personnel. | ₹12,000/- |
