Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has officially announced the Undergraduate (UG) Admission Schedule for the Academic Session 2026–27. The admissions for FYUGP, FYIMP, and FYUGPG programs will be conducted through the Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal (SAMARTH). Eligible students can apply online and choose programmes across different Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in Assam.

Post Admission Activities

Students admitted to the first semester will attend:

Induction Programme and Demo Classes (1–5 August 2026) for core and common courses. Paper/course selection will also be done through the SAMARTH Portal.
