District Administrative Head Assistant Post Apply

In pursuance of the Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, General Administratior Department, Dispur, Guwahati letter No. E-735237/3 dated. 29.12.2025, applications are invited in "Standard form" as published in Assam Gazette in Part-IX for filing up of 02 (Two) Nos. of vacant posts of "District Administrative Head Assistant" in the Office of the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur and Office of the Co-District Commissioner Dhakuakhana in the Scale of pay PB-3 (Rs.22, 000/- - 97, 000/-Grade Pay - Rs.10, 300/- PM.) plus other allowances as admissible under the rules As per the provisions of “The Assam Ministerial District Establishment Service Rules, 1967" and as amended from time to time, the above post will be filled up by selection from amongst the Senior District Administrative Assistant with at least 10(ten) years of continuous service as such to their credit including District Administrative Supervisory Assistant in any District Commissioner's Establishment of Assam.

Applications stating age, educational qualification, present and permanent address and experience in different branches with period of incumbency in each branch should reach the undersigned within 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement. ACRs of the last five years and statement/certificate regarding an pending Departmental Proceeding must be attached/ enclosed with the application form.

Applications should be submitted through proper channel to the District Commissioner, Lakhimpur. Selection will be made by Government as per the Assam Ministerial District Establishment Service Rules, 1967 and amended from time to time. Candidates may have to appear before Selection Board for interview as and when called for at their own expenses. No TAIDA will be admissible for appearing before the Selection Board.
