i ) Master’s Degree in Science (Royal) from a recognized University

ii) B.Ed. and Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates will be given preference

iii) Teaching experience at UP/HS/HSS level preferred

iii) If Higher Secondary TET-qualified candidates are not available, candidates having Master’s Degree with B.Ed. may be considered.

2.Asstt. Teacher (Education)

(Only for Female)

i) Master’s Degree in Education from a recognized University

ii) B.Ed. and Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates will be given preference

iii) Teaching experience at UP/HS/HSS level preferred

iv) In absence of Higher Secondary TET-qualified candidates, Master’s Degree with B.Ed. may be considered.

3.Asstt. Teacher (Hindi)

(Both Male/Female)

i) Master’s Degree with Hindi Praveen from a recognized University

ii) B.Ed. and Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates will be given preference

iii) Teaching experience at UP/HS/HSS level preferred

iv) In absence of Higher Secondary TET-qualified candidates, Master’s Degree/Hindi Praveen with B.Ed. may be considered.

Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.

Maximum age: 45 years as on 01 January 2026.

Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable to SC, ST(P), ST(H) and PH candidates for another 5 years, as per applicable Government of Assam rules.

Preference will be given to BTR District candidates against each post.

For KGBV residential schools for girls, the Assistant Teacher (Full Time) is required to reside in the school-cum-hostel campus on working days and holidays.
