Gauhati High Court Recruitment Details
| 1. Private Secretary (Stenographer Grade-I) | No of posts: 3 posts Pay: PB-4, ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000 GP: ₹13,300 Age Limit: OBC/ MOBC: 41 years STP/ STH: 43 years PWBD: 48 years Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, preferably with a diploma in Stenography in English with minimum speed of 120 wpm in shorthand and 50 wpm on a computer. Due weightage is given to a law graduate. |
| 2. Chauffeur (Driver) | No of posts: 1 post Age Limit: UR: 40 years OBC/ MOBC: 43 years SC/ ST: 45 years PWBD: 50 years Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess minimum educational qualification of Class X (HSLC) from a recognized Board and a valid LMV driving licence issued by competent authority. |
| 3. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) | No of posts: 1 post Pay: PB-1, ₹12,000 – ₹52,000 GP: ₹3,900 Age Limit: UR: 40 years OBC/ MOBC: 43 years SC/ ST: 45 years PWBD: 50 years Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess minimum educational qualification of Class VIII (8th) standard and those who have passed HSSLC (Class 12) or above are ineligible. |
| 4. Stenographer Grade-II | No of posts: 35 posts Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. Candidates should also possess Diploma/ Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from an ITI, Polytechnic or other recognized institute. |
Other Criteria of Gauhati High Court Recruitment
| Citizenship: | Candidates must be a citizen of India as defined under Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India. |
| Employment Exchange Registration: | Candidates must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number for the State of Assam. |
| Official Language Proficiency (Stenographer Grade-II): | The candidate should have knowledge of the Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese). |
