Pay Scale:

PB-Rs. 14,000–70,000 + GP-Rs. 6,200/- and other allowances as per Government rules.

Candidates must have:

1.Passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination.

2.Satisfactory character antecedents.

3. 06 months Diploma in Computer Applications from a Government-recognized institute.

4.Must be computer literate

The candidate must not be less than 18 years and must not be more than 40 years of age as on 01 January 2026.

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules:

SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years

OBC/MOBC: 3 years

Eligible candidates should submit their application in Standard Form, mentioning their address and mobile number along with photocopies of relevant documents, including:

1.Educational qualification certificates

2.Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate

3.Recent passport-size photographs

4.Other relevant documents :

The application should include 3 copies of recent passport-size photographs and a self-addressed envelope of 5 cm × 11 cm affixed with a Rs. 10/- postal stamp.

The envelope should clearly mention the post applied for on the top and be addressed to:

The Member, Foreigners’ Tribunal, Biswanath 1st, Biswanath Chariali – 784176, Assam.

14 October 2026, up to 5:00 PM

The written test is tentatively scheduled on

22 November 2026, followed by a Computer Proficiency/Skill Test for shortlisted candidates.

The selection process consists of:

Stage 1 – Common Written Test

OMR-based objective questions

75 marks

Duration: 2 hours

General English – 20 marks

General Knowledge including Computer Knowledge – 20 marks

General Mathematics – 15 marks

Logical Reasoning & Mental Ability – 10 marks

Current Affairs – 10 marks

Stage 2 – Computer Skill Test

25 marks

The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Computer Proficiency Test covering applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Final selection will be based on the total marks obtained in the Written Test and Computer Proficiency Test, out of 100 marks.

1.No TA/DA will be admissible for the written test or skill test.

2.The posts are purely temporary and will continue only as long as the Foreigners’ Tribunals exist.

3.Selected candidates will have to submit an undertaking regarding the Government's New Pension Rules.

4.Admit cards will be issued 10 days before the examination.
