TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of India.

2. The candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2026. Upper Age Limit relaxation shall be as per existing Government Guidelines.

3. Candidates must posses valid Employment Exchange Registration number and the Registration numbers along with date must be mentioned in their applications.

4. Candidates who are already in Govt. Service will have to apply through proper channel along with NOC from his/her employer.

5. The applications with self-attested photocopies of all relevant testimonials relating to Educational Qualification, Experience Certificate (wherever appllcable), driving license, Caste Certificate, Age Proof, Employment Exchange Registration card, along with 3 (Three) copies of recent passport Size Photographs duly signed on the reverse side alongwith the Application Form.

6. The Candidates must indicate prominently the name of the post applied for on the top of the envelope containing the application.

7. The Candidates must provide their Contact details (Mobile Number, e-mail address) in the Application Form,

8. Completed applications along with all testimonials as mentioned above should be addressed to “The District & sessions Judge, Dima Hasao, Haflong, P.O & P.S Haflong, District : Dima Hasao, Assam, PIN-788819.”

9. A “Drop Box for the Post of Driver on contingency basis” will be kept at the premise of the District Court Building at Jatinga for the candidates to drop their applications.

10. Applications sent through post is to be superscribed as “Application for the Post of Driver on contingency basis”. The Selection Board shall not be responsible for any postal delay in delivering the applications and those applications will be summarily rejected without any notice.

11. Applications received late or without proper supporting documents or unsigned or incomplete or defective will be summarily rejected without any further intimation.

12. The Applications will be received through “Offline Mode” only.

13. The last date of receipt of Applications will be 30.09.2026 by 05.00 P.M.

14. The accepted list of Candidates and the rejected list of the Candidates for the post of Driver on contingency basis will be uploaded in the Official website of Dima Hasao District Judiciary (https://dimahasao.dcourts.gov.in/) and will also be put up in the Notice Boards in both the Court Buildings at Haflong and Jatinga,

15. No individual Call Letter / Admit Card will be sent to the eligible candidates whose names are in the accepted list.

16. The Selection Process will be of 2 Stages : (i) Stage I - Driving Test of 50 (Fifty) Marks. (ii) Stage II- Interview / Viva-voce of 50 (Fifty) Marks.

17. No T.A /D.A will be admissible to the Candidates for appearing in the Skill Test/ Viva-Voce,

18. No person who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living or who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the aforesaid post of peon.

19. Candidates at the time of applying shall have to submit a Declaration in Form-“A” under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019.

20. The Place, Date and Time of the Skill Test and Interview / Viva-Voce will be uploaded in the official website (https://dimahasao.dcourts.gov.in/) and will also be put up in the Notice Board of the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Dima Hasao, Haflong. The Candidates are advised to check the Official website and the Notice Board regularly.

21. The Final Selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the Candidates in the Driving Skill Test and the Personal Interview / Viva-Voce.

22. Canvassing directly / indirectly in any form will disqualify the candidature of the Candidate.

23. The Selection Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice
