CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Fresh/Renewal Applications for 2025
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) invites online applications
from eligible students for the following Merit Scholarship Schemes:
1. Single Girl Child Scholarship – Class X (2025 Scheme):
2. Single Girl Child Scholarship – Class X 2024 (Renewal in 2025):

Allocation of scholarship
The number of scholarships for a particular year shall be variable and shall be
awarded to all such "Single Girl Students" who have secured 70% or more marks
in the CBSE Class X Examination in that year.
Eligibility criteria
1. All Single Girl Students, who have secured 70% or more marks in CBSE Class X
Examination and are studying Class XI & XII in School (affiliated with CBSE) whose tuition fee is
not more than Rs. 2,500/- p.m. during the academic year, shallbe considered for the purpose.
The tuition fee in class XI & XII shall not bemore than Rs. 3,000/- p.m.
2. The scholarship shall be awarded to Indian Nationals only.
3. The student must continue her school studies in Class XI and XII in school as
stated above.
4. Candidate who have passed CBSE Class X Examination in 2025 will be
considered.
5. A Scholar under the scheme while availing scholarship can enjoy other
concession(s) given by the school in which she is studying / other organization(s).
Students with gross parental/family income upto Rs. 8 lakh per annum are eligible
for scholarship under the scheme
Rate of Scholarships and mode of payment
The rate of scholarship shall be Rupees One Thousand (Rs. 1,000/-) per
month. A Scholarship awarded under the scheme shall be paid for a maximum
period of two years.
Payment will be made through ECS/NEFT only.
Selection Procedure
1. Student should have passed Class X Examination from the CBSE and secured
70% or more marks.
2. For Renewal : The student should have received CBSE Single Girl Child Merit
Scholarship last year and should be a student of CBSE in class XI in the previous
year and have scored 70% or more marks in Class XI and promoted to class XII
3. Pursuing Class XI & XII from CBSE affiliated Schools.
4. Student(Girl) should be ONLY CHILD of their parents.
Tuition fee should not be more than Rs. 2,500/- per month in Class X and Rs.
3,000/- per month in Class XI & XII.
Students with gross parental/family income upto Rs. 8 lakh per annum are eligible
for scholarship under the scheme. A self-declaration by the parent on a non
judicial notarized stamp paper shall be uploaded online. (THE FORMAT OF
AFFIDAVIT IS ATTACHED HEREWITH)
5. First quarterly fee slip duly verified by the Principal should be uploaded online.
6. All the applications must be verified from the present school where the student is
studying. In case applications are not verified the same will be rejected. The
facility of processing the application is provided to school where the candidate is
studying.
