Candidates must submit self-attested copies of relevant testimonials/certificates along with 3 (three) recent passport size photographs along with the application, out of which one photograph must be pasted on the application. However, candidates have to produce their original testimonials regarding educational qualifications, date of birth, caste, working experience etc. at subsequent stages when asked for.

Age will be minimum 18 years and maximum age will be as per Govt. of Assam Notification. Age will be counted as on 01.11.2025.

Applications are to be submitted in the drop box within the office working hours in Court Office or by post {Address - Office of the Special Judge, CBI, Assam, Guwahati at Chandmari, Guwahati-781003, near Chandmari Police Station}.

The envelope containing the application should be superscribed - “Application for the Post of Peon” or “Application for the post of Chowkidar”. |

No application fee will be necessary.

Application form which is incomplete in any respect, such as, without photograph, signature etc., is liable to be rejected summarily without giving any information to the applicants.

Candidates who are already in Government Service (Central/State of PSU) may apply through proper channel. They shall have to produce “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer along with the application form.

Candidates applying for the post of Peon and Chowkidar shall submit a self declaration regarding their educational qualification stating that “I have not passed HSSLC or equivalent examination and I shall be liable for criminal prosecution for submission / detection of my false educational qualification.”

Information submitted by an applicant in his/her application will bind the candidate and if found to be false, his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith and he/she shall be liable for criminal prosecution.

The candidate will be responsible for any mistake made by him/her in the application form and this office shall not be responsible or liable in any way. |

The selection process will comprise of interview / viva voce (50 marks for each member).

Place and date of the interview will be notified in due course in the website www.kamrupmetro.dcourts.gov.in. No TA/DA will be paid for the same.

Applicants shall have to mention his/her valid mobile number in the application.

The list of provisional candidates/final result will be published in the official website of Kamrup(M) District judiciary (www.kamrupmetro.dcourts.gov.in) for the candidates’ reference.

If any candidate is found canvassing directly or indirectly, his/her candidature will be rejected.

The office of the Special judge, CBI, Assam, Guwahati reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice.
