Assam Public Service Commission has released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 50 Assistant Engineer Posts in Public Heath Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Assam. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here. 

Name of post: Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical)

No of posts: 50 posts

Branch-wise vacancy:

# Civil: 40 posts

# Mechanical: 5 posts

# Chemical: 5 posts

Scale of pay: Rs 30000/- to Rs 110000/-, Grade Pay Rs 12700/-

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed BE/ B.Tech. in respective branch of Engineering from any institute recognised by AICTE. OR Part A & B of AMIE India in Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering enrolled on or before 31st May 2013.

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2025. 

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

# SC: 5 years

# ST: 5 years

# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years

# PwBD: 10 years

Resident-ship:

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a proof of residency along with the application form

(iii) The candidate must produce Employment Exchange Registration certificate in the state of Assam along with the application form .
