Other Criteria of AMTRON Recruitment
| Age Limit: Age of the candidates must be Minimum: 21 years and Maximum: 38 years, as on 1st January 2026. Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST (H)/ST (P), 3 years for OBC/MOBC, and 10 years for PwD candidates, as per prevailing Government of Assam norms. Domicile: Preference will be given for Assam domicile. Period of engagement: The engagement is purely on a contract basis for eleven (11) months initially, subject to performance evaluation, and extendable annually up to three (3) years based on performance. Selected candidates will be placed under the AUP Project, Department of Information Technology, Government of Assam, under the administrative control of AMTRON. Selection Process
| Online applications will be shortlisted on the basis of the eligibility criteria and educational qualification. The list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on recruitment.amtron.in. Shortlisted candidates will additionally be intimated by e-mail. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process through downloadable call letters. For the posts advertised under combined designations (Frontend Developer / Sr. Frontend Developer, Backend Developer / Sr. Backend Developer, CMS Developer / Sr. CMS Developer, and Database Administrator / Sr. Database Administrator), the selection process shall comprise a Technical/Practical Assessment in addition to the Viva-Voce. For the posts of Content Manager and Graphic Designer, the selection process shall comprise a Viva-Voce along with a review of portfolio/work samples. Final selection will be based on performance in the Technical/Practical Assessment and Viva-Voce (as applicable to the post), educational qualification, and relevant work experience. |
